Flying V Turquoise, known around the barn as Bougie, came to Piper through the 2025 AQHA Ranching Heritage Young Horse Development Program. KT Cattle of Amado, Arizona, donated the weanling.

With a young horse, the work begins long before a first ride. Piper applied her foundation-first approach from the start, building confidence, manners, and response on the ground. She and Bougie placed sixth nationally, and their training continues.
